First Nations Engagement
Enviropacific recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of Australia and their connection to waters, land, and culture – a rich and diverse history.
We acknowledge the low level of participation in our industry by people with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage and are taking proactive measures to increase participation in our business to match community expectations. Our business takes us into many communities and we believe that we work best, and that we will be most successful, when our workforce is representative of the diversity of the communities in which we work.
Our INNOVATE Reconciliation Action Plan
We have now progressed into the Innovate stage of our RAP journey.
Our Innovate RAP focusses on strengthening cultural understanding and awareness across our non-Indigenous workforce, while embedding reconciliation into the way we work and engage with communities. We are committed to building respectful and meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples wherever we operate – listening, learning, and continually evolving our approach through genuine collaboration.
Through these partnerships, we aim to create long-term opportunities in employment, business engagement, and community support, ensuring outcomes are developed together with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and grounded in mutual respect.
RAP Artwork
Our artwork serves as a tribute to our rich First Nations culture, as we embrace this heritage and build respectful relationships.
At the core of the painting lies the meeting place, symbolising the connections we forge and the unity we celebrate. It stands as a testament to the power and potential of collaboration and the coming together of individuals and communities.
