The client contacted us after finding damaged sections of bonded asbestos sheeting during a property cleanup for sale. Other contractors they had approached had turned down the job due to its complexity within a confined space. As part of the cleanup, we identified shallow asbestos contamination in a crushed rock garden path encircling the property. Additionally, asbestos contamination was discovered in the rear vegetable patch, accompanied by a notable amount of inert waste.
Our assigned tasks involved gently scraping the garden path surrounding the house, excavating contaminated soil from the vegetable patch, and stockpiling the spoil for transport to an EPA Licensed Facility. We also conducted a general cleanup, removing multiple skip loads of bricks and concrete from the affected areas.
After removing the contaminated materials, we brought in clean fill rock and soil, distributing them across the affected areas to present the property in a clean and orderly condition.
