Enviropacific is one of Australia’s leading asbestos management and removal service providers. We are licensed to manage and remove friable (easily “crumbled” by hand) and non-friable (cannot be “crumbled” or pulverised by hand) material from residential, commercial, and industrial properties. We routinely perform works to remove asbestos containing materials (ACM) from sites nationally, most recently in Brookvale NSW.
The Brookvale Centre of Excellence is a $33 million upgrade to the existing Brookvale Oval (Home ground of NRL Club Manly Sea Eagles). The new facility will be located at the northern end of the stadium and the grandstand will feature undercover seating for 3,000 spectators. The upgrade also includes include high performance training and administration facilities for the club, elite level gym, aquatic recovery and rehab pools, food and beverage outlets, disability access and seating, new toilets, female changing rooms, as well as multipurpose community education facilities and community meeting rooms.
Enviropacific was engaged to assist with managing the ACM spoil being generated as part of the project scope of works. The main scope for Enviropacific was friable asbestos supervision, labour, providing personal protective equipment (PPE) and plant hire including a Decontamination Unit, Pad Foot Roller, Moxi, and 24t Excavator during the civil and earthworks. The site contained friable and non-friable asbestos in soil and subsequently required SafeWork approval to commence operations and onsite Class A Supervision until the site hygienist signed off on the works.

- The ACM Material from the scoreboard was demolished and removed
- The ACM in soil stayed on site (shown capped and contained under the orange geofab and VENM Layer) under the supervision of a validation consultant
- Only recyclable material was left on the site (Concrete and asphalt) during the civil operations
