Enviropacific was one of the head contractors on a delivery panel implemented by the ACT Loose Fill Insulation Removal Task Force for the eradication of asbestos materials installed within the ceiling cavities of 1,000 residential homes throughout the 1960s and 1970s.
Our works involved the complete removal of the friable asbestos loose fill under a certified negative pressure asbestos enclosure, decontaminating the structure prior to the controlled demolition of each dwelling. Following demolition, we also remediated areas of ground contamination.
We complied with stringent waste stream handling and transportation controls to the landfill without incident.
Enviropacific successfully demolished over 125 homes, enabling the government to return the sites to market.
