OUR FOUNDERS
Matt Fensom and Cameron McLean were a couple of mates who established ‘Enviropacific Contracting’ on the 15th February, 2001.
Both had a genuine passion for environmental remediation.
The head office was a shed at the back of Matt’s home in Rozelle in Sydney’s inner west; they operated out of a ute.
20 years on, both remain involved with the business, with Cameron continuing as an Enviropacific Director.
Our Name
Many have asked where the name, ‘Enviropacific’, comes from.
Cameron McLean says “it had to reference the word ‘remediation’ or ‘environment’ and, because Matt Fensom and I grew up by the water, it needed to have a geographic reference.”
Hence Enviropacific.
The full name, though, has evolved – from ‘Enviropacific Contracting’, ‘Enviropacific Services’ and, today, simply ‘Enviropacific’.
OUR COLOURS
Our corporate colours – ochre red and blue – reflect where we come from. Ochre red represents the earth, given our purpose is to enhance environments and create safer and healthier communities. Blue represents the Pacific Ocean, linking back to our name.
