Introducing Bonia Mohan – our ICT Manager who successfully led our ISO 27001 certification and in record time too!  Bonia earned her master’s degree in Engineering and Research and specialised in Cyber Security and Digital transformation. Over the course of a decade-long journey, she has worked in various industries, including consulting and management roles.

How does it feel to have led a successful audit for Enviropacific? What does the ISO certification mean for us and for our clients?

Leading a successful audit for Enviropacific fills me with immense pride. It highlights our unwavering commitment to information security and management. The ISO 27001:2022 certification, the hallmark of global information security standards, speaks volumes in today’s digital age. It’s the key to our clients’ trust, assuring them of data security and our steadfast dedication to their wellbeing.

Who or what inspired you to take up a career in engineering?

For me, it’s a lifelong love affair with the magic of technology. Growing up in a family of engineers, including my parents and brother, I couldn’t escape the allure of technology. Their passion ignited a spark in me that led to academic pursuits, earning Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Engineering, and delving into IT research. These experiences have amplified my fascination with technology’s boundless possibilities. In my journey spanning over a decade, I’ve had the privilege of working and consulting across diverse industries, sharpening my engineering prowess and gaining insights into this ever-evolving field. These experiences have woven a rich tapestry, complementing my innate management skills. This unique blend of technical expertise and leadership acumen propels me toward my ultimate goal: pioneering technological innovation.

What attracted you to Enviropacific?

It’s their noble mission to prevent environmental damage. I saw an opportunity to leverage my technical expertise to make a real impact – saving the planet. The company’s unwavering commitment to sustainability and innovation perfectly aligns with my values and career aspirations.

Tell us a bit more about your current role.

As Enviropacific’s ICT Manager, I orchestrate our digital transformation journey. My daily agenda includes overseeing our IT infrastructure, leading service delivery teams, and crafting and executing ICT strategies that align our organisational goals. I also ensure the security of ICT systems, manage budgets, and foster partnerships to drive operational efficiency and growth. But the real thrill is leading high-performing teams, mentoring, and collaborating with stakeholders.

What do you enjoy most about working at Enviropacific?
