Hi All
The new financial year is well underway and it’s pleasing to see that Enviropacific is continuing to grow in all our key service areas. There are interesting projects in the pipeline and our teams have been nominated for various industry awards:
- In Remediation, we completed site works on the Fitzroy Gasworks project in Melbourne, which began in 2018. A site with a long industrial history and heavy contamination is now remediated and it is great to see the project recognised as one of the finalists in the ‘People and Projects Victoria’ category at the Engineers Australia Excellence Awards.
- We have also been named as a finalist in the Australian Defence Industry Awards – in two categories – Estate & Infrastructure Business of the Year and Sub-Contractor of the Year.
- SOLVE, our fixed facility in Melbourne, has been shortlisted for the Infrastructure Sustainability Council Awards and as a finalist at the upcoming Waste Innovation & Recycling Awards.
In the water division, our GM, Sagar Adhikari featured in the ALGA Cronicle series where he discussed the importance of Groundwater and Sustainability.
It’s rewarding to note the contribution Enviropacific is playing in the beneficial re-use/recycling of contaminated soil and water. We now treat over 200,000 tonnes of soil annually of which 120,000 tonnes is PFAS contaminated. We have treated over 7 billion litres of water to date with around 1.7 billion litres contaminated with PFAS. At SOLVE, we continue to treat approximately 75,000 tonnes of soil annually in our thermal plant and close to 45,000 tonnes annually of drill muds in our NDD plant.
We continue to work together to create safer environments and sustainable communities.
Regards,
David
