Innovation is the way we do business, it’s how the company was founded, and we believe it’s the way forward for Enviropacific. To continue this culture of innovation, Enviropacific has appointed Ben Kay as our new Innovation Manager.

In this new role, Ben will be looking at implementing our growth strategy for remediation, expanding our current services, and positioning ourselves for future markets.

Ben has more than 18 years of experience both in Australia and overseas, in the remediation, environmental, civil, and transport infrastructure industries. He holds a double degree in Engineering and Science from the University of New South Wales. He is most well known in the business for his role at the Hickson Road Remediation Project, and his extensive knowledge of PFAS and Immobilisation technologies.

In this new role, Ben will be driving the innovation initiatives that support Enviropacific with a dedicated team.

Ben Kay- Innovation Manager

“Innovation and staying at the front edge of our industry is something that’s always driven me. To accept a role in an area I’m passionate about is exciting and will ensure Enviropacific will continue to push the boundaries and position ourselves for future markets. We have some great initiatives being implemented from streamlining internal processes, to R&D projects, to looking at opportunities within the growing sustainability and circular economy markets. It’s great to be able to contribute to making positive impacts on our environment and communities that we all live in.”

The Innovation Team will focus on expanding our current service offering by ensuring we are staying abreast of emerging contaminants and technologies, developing new methods of soil and water treatment, and unlocking beneficial re-use pathways for waste.

They will also be looking at future markets – anticipating potential waste and contamination issues, opportunities driven by changing regulations, ESG, and market drivers such as decarbonisation and the circular economy.
