From early beginnings the management of the Health and Safety of our people has been our top priority. ‘People First’ is one of our core values in delivering industry-leading engineering and applied science solutions to make our environments and communities safer and healthier.
In 2007, our processes and procedures we were certified to international Management System Standards and we have held continuous certification ever since.
In 2009, we achieved accreditation to one of the most robust WHS Accreditation schemes in the country through the Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner, which we’ve maintained..
In 2015, we introduced our own trademarked ‘Start Safe, Stay Safe’ Safety Management System, with branding on all uniforms as a simple yet vital reminder of the need to start safe and stay safe at all times.
Two years later, the ‘Line of Site’ program started as an umbrella program to a series of wellbeing initiatives we introduced, growing to encompass 12 Critical Risks and their associated minimum safety standards.
As our workplaces change and develop, so too does health and safety. We continue to look for new ways to innovate to make the Enviropacific workplace as safe as it can be.
Over the last 12 months, we have integrated key strategic initiatives into the day to day operation of the business like our Health and Wellbeing program, Envir|OK; our partnership with providers such as Move 4 Life delivering our wholistic sprain and strain prevention, and physical wellbeing programs; and our work to deliver on Psychological Safety initiatives.
Just as with the story of the Enviropacific itself, our people, systems and approach to the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality issues continue continues to set new standards nation-wide.
