Welcome to the first edition of EnviroNews 2021. It has already been a big start to the year, after a somewhat disrupted 2020.
2021 marks our 20th year since Matt Fensom and Cameron McLean started the business as Enviropacific Consulting, in the back room of Matt’s home in Rozelle.
It is truly remarkable how the business has grown since then, operating in all Australian states and territories on thousands of projects from remediation, water treatment, hazardous waste management and fuel facilities.
The success of Enviropacific is an enormous credit to the vision and passion of Matt and Cameron but also to the commitment, dedication, skills and expertise of our people. The core values of the business – People First, Customer Focus, Team Effort & Creative Thinking – is as true today as it was in 2001.
Throughout the year we will be arranging a series of events to mark this milestone – it wouldn’t be possible without the support of all our stakeholders including our clients, subcontractors, suppliers and partners.
The other major development is the finalization of a substantial investment in the business by leading Australian private equity firm, Next Capital. This is an exciting development because it will enable the next step in the growth of Enviropacific.
It will also involve a couple of board changes with the the founding Partner of Next Capital, Patrick Elliott, as the new chairman.
