Working with Defence at RAAF Base Curtin

Enviropacific continues to set new standards for improving fuel systems for clients in the Defence, Commercial and Infrastructure sectors.

We were recently contracted by indigenous construction company, Barpa, to complete the installation of a new Light Vehicle Refuelling Facility (LVRF) at RAAF Base Curtin in the Kimberley region of WA.

The upgrade included two new tanks, two bowsers and a tanker overloading area.

We were also contracted to complete mechanical works for the Defence Fuel Installation Aviation (DFI-A) facility on the site, including new fuel sampling systems, new site vapour venting, operability and safety upgrades throughout the plant.

The 16-month project contained several logistical challenges due to COVID travel restrictions and the remoteness of the Base.

But our ability to react, resolve issues and work through travel restrictions allowed us to overcome the challenges and deliver another high-quality project.

Enviropacific’s work with Barpa at RAAF Curtin highlights our expertise in managing fuel facilities projects end-to-end capability of delivering innovative cost-effective solutions.
