Hi,
Welcome to the latest edition of EnviroNews and the first since the global coronavirus pandemic turned the world upside down. Like all businesses, we have been impacted and have made some significant changes to keep our people safe and do our part to help prevent the spread of the virus.
I am pleased to report that, to date, we have had no COVID-19 cases at any of our workplaces and at the same time our Total Recordable Injuries Frequency Rate (TRIFR) is at its lowest in more than three years.
We entered the crisis in a strong financial position on top of the government recognising that Enviropacific was an essential service. We moved quickly to protect the business and prioritise our work, given businesses like ours generally feel the effects of an economic change several months later.
As we look ahead, I am confident of our path forward with a renewed focus on our core specialist areas: remediation, water treatment, fuel facilities and hazardous waste management. I am excited about the future growth of the business both organically and by acquisition.
Thank you for your continued support of Enviropacific through this difficult period. We continue to adapt to the environment and are very much open for business and committed to delivering to our clients.
Finally, we have launched our new corporate video outlining who we are, what we do and how we work with our stakeholders to create safer and healthier communities. I hope you find it of interest.
