A message from the CEO
Hi,
The Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak continues to unfold at a rapid pace. At Enviropacific, we value the health and welfare of all our employees, subcontractors, service providers and clients.
We understand that these are uncertain times and are carefully balancing the needs to protect all our stakeholders and maintain business continuity.
We are advised that the COVID-19 risk to Enviropacific is considered low, but we are developing contingency plans in the event that there are unexpected disruptions.
Operationally, we have taken measures to mitigate the COVID-19 risk to our workplace that are likely to affect you, including:
- Pre-commencement Health Checks for new or returning employees, subcontractors and service providers
- A Visitors Log for all sites and offices, in the event we need to follow up someone who has attended one of our workplaces
In the office, we have also asked that where practical virtual meetings take preference over face to face interactions.
As many of you are already advising your own people, we are also reminding Enviropacific stakeholders to take personal hygiene precautions including:
- Maintaining a safe distance from others
- Washing hands frequently and using hand sanitiser
- Covering your nose and mouth with a tissue or flexed elbow when sneezing or coughing
At all times, our decisions are guided by the Department of Health – www.health.gov.au – and Smartraveller – www.smartraveller.gov.au – with the focus on preventative measures. If anyone is unwell, they will be sent home immediately and asked to seek medical advice or call the Government Coronavirus Health Information Line on 1800 020 080.
