ENVIRONEWS March 2020
Welcome to the first edition of EnviroNews for 2020.
I’d like to take this opportunity to warmly welcome our two new board members that bring
extensive public board experience:
- Tony Shepherd AO joins as the new Independent Chairman.
“I was keen to take the role of Chairman of Enviropacific as it is well positioned to take advantage of the national growth in demand for remediation and waste treatment. The company has an established reputation for its technological expertise in developing and safely executing environmental services in a highly regulated and sensitive market; it also has enormous potential for growth.”
- Dr Ian Watt AC has joined the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
“I am looking forward to being able to make a positive contribution to Australia’s leading specialist environmental company that performs the vital role of creating safer and healthier communities.”
They will replace one of our founders, Matt Fensom, and John Mingay who have made extraordinary contributions to the company.
We have also welcomed a new manager for our SOLVE facility in Melbourne: Amy Wells, an experienced engineer and operations manager. Make sure to keep an eye out for the next edition of the Waste
Management Review magazine for a profile piece on SOLVE.
You may have seen some articles in the press, over the last few weeks, speculating about the
future Enviropacific. The Board is considering an IPO process in the first half of the year. The aim is to provide the company with access to capital to fund further growth opportunities.
We continue to see strong market fundamentals supporting the growth in each of our four key service areas: Remediation, Water Treatment, Fuel Facilities and Hazardous Waste Management. There is committed government infrastructure spending, urban renewal and tightening environmental regulations which is all contributing to growing business demand.
Finally, I’m pleased to announce that we have launched our new website www.enviropacific.com.au Please check it out.
