At Enviropacific, we put significant effort into understanding our clients’ needs and making sure they are at the forefront of everything we do. Nowhere is that principle more apparent than our current work with FKG Group and BP Australia at Ballina, on the New South Wales North Coast.
Cadway was engaged to design an innovative concept for a new Highway Travel Centre at Ballina. The design was a key component in BP winning the NSW Government tender to design and construct the BP Ballina Travel Centre. In understanding our client’s needs, we made sure the concept met the local council’s requirements to “tell the story of regional connection in conjunction with, and while reflecting, the values of Ballina Shire Council.”
Eventually, the travel centre will house an outdoor community cultural area.
The interior design integrates retail, dining and lounge spaces. There will be varied ceiling heights and partitioning, giving customers easy access to shared amenities such as toilets, baby change rooms, telephones, postal kiosk and ATMs.
Construction on this project is now underway with expected completion early next year.
